Welcome to Code Monkey

"Code Monkey" is sometimes used in a negative way ("any code monkey could do that"), but I use it as an indication that there is no task so menial that it is beneath me. And, you must admit, it is memorable. I believe the services I perform for you will be memorable as well.

Code Monkey is a sole-proprietorship registered as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in the state of Colorado.

What Code Monkey Offers

I have been working in software for over 25 years, and therefore I bring a number of skills to the table. Foremost among these is an ability to quickly learn new software languages, systems, and applications. I already "speak" a variety of languages (see the FAQ for details) and am familiar with both desktop and Web-based application development (see the Projects page for more details). I have taken many projects from initial inception through completion, delivery, and maintenance.

Why Use Code Monkey

I am a "full-service" sort of consultant. My primary focus is seeing to it that you get what you want. Many times a project will start with one scope, or on one platform using one language, only to be changed as the process goes along to require other skills. I offer many skills, so you will not need to get another consultant involved. The learning curve will not need to be relearned, and the vision for the result will not need to be re-explained. I work quickly, I learn quickly, so, in the end, you save money and get a superior product.
